CeHa WHITE® bonding porcelain is a glass porcelain, comprising a glass matrix with embedded leucite crystals. The leucite glass porcelain is produced by targeted crystallisation of glass materials. Following firing, the leucite crystals increase transformation in the glass matrix during cooling. Compressive stresses are created at the leucite phase margins (crystal) and glass (matrix) that inhibit fractures and cracks. The 4 µm leucite crystals in the bonding porcelain form a fine microstructure that inhibits crack propagation and creates natural light diffraction.
CeHa WHITE® bonding porcelain has excellent modelling properties, minimum and controllable shrinkage and also CTE and shade stability after several firings.
